Threadesk uses AI to turn what you say, type, photograph or upload into proposed business records. This page explains how, in plain language.
What AI does in Threadesk
- Transcribes your voice notes into text.
- Reads photos and files, such as receipts, product shots and payment screenshots.
- Understands what happened and proposes the matching sale, payment, customer, stock, expense or reminder.
- Answers questions about your own records.
You confirm before anything is saved
AI only proposes. Threadesk shows you a confirmation card and nothing is written to your records until you approve it. AI can make mistakes, so check names, amounts and quantities before you confirm.
What is sent to AI providers
Only the input needed for the task is sent: the message, recording, photo or file you gave Threadesk, plus the minimum record context needed to understand it (for example, matching a customer name to your existing customers). We do not send your payment card details or sign-in credentials.
AI and transcription providers act as our service providers and process this information only to return a result to us, under terms that restrict their use of it.
Model training
Threadesk does not sell your data and does not use your business records to advertise to you. We do not allow our providers to use your content to train their general models where their terms give us that control, and we review those terms when we choose providers.
AI credits
Some AI actions use credits as described on the Pricing page. Credit rules are in the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
Your controls
- Review, edit or reject any proposal.
- Edit or delete records later in the app.
- Ask us to delete your data by contacting us or closing your account.
